A Note on Gifts
Many of you will be travelling far to share our wedding day with us, so please do not feel obliged to get us anything. The best gift we can have is you being there to celebrate our day alongside us. But if you wish to give us something, we would really appreciate any contributions towards our savings pot, for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot.
The Bar
There will be a fully stocked bar that will accept cash or card payments. Thirsk Lodge Barns is a licenced premises therefore guests are not permitted to bring alcohol onsite, this also applies to hip flasks.
Parking
Guests are welcome to leave their cars in the carpark overnight. Please note that this is at your own risk and cars must be collected by 11am the day following the event.
Accessibility
As Thirsk Lodge Barns is all on one level it is wheelchair friendly. Wheelchair users and those that struggle to walk on gravel are welcome to come into the trade entrance where you can enter the venue via a paved area. There are also accessible toilet facilities.
Taxis
As Thirsk Lodge Barns is a rural venue pre-booking taxis is essential, we advise doing this a few weeks ahead of the event you are attending. Please see the Travel and Stay page for a list of local taxi companies.
Wi-Fi
There will be complimentary Wi-Fi, there is no password needed.
